Un proyecto interesante de Jared Gradinger y Angela Schubot en donde podríamos leer una exploración de la identidad directamente mediante su representación opuesta. Nos enfrentamos ante un intento de aglutinamiento literal a otro para intentar convertirse en una perfecta unión; el intento de dos por convertirse en uno perfecto. O sea, poner de lado al Yo por la idea de Nosotros, pero no por nosotros como dos, sino por el intento de disolverse en el otro para ser uno. Una negligencia del Yo intencionada. Mucho de este experimento se da mediante la respiración compasada, rítmica y una lucha constante, una lucha imposible.
Jared Gradinger nació y creció en Rochester, Nueva York y ha estado trabajando desde el 2002 en Berlín, cuando trabajó por primera vez con Constanza Macras en Mir3, Una Historia de Amor. Es uno de los miembros fundadores del Constanza Macras/Dorky Park con quien ha colaborado en varios proyectos.
Angela Schubot studió en Berlín is es co-fundadora del Two Fish with Martin Clausen (since 2000). Este grupo ha producido más de 10 piezas de danza y teatro, siendo presentados en Alemania y el extranjero.

What they are instead of
Jared Gradinger and Angela Schubot present an interesting project in which we may read an exploration on identity directly through its opposite representation. It confronts us to the endeavor of one in an attempt to agglutinate—literally, to another and, with this, try to become a perfect unity. Is the attempt of two to become a perfect One. Two putting the self aside so that the idea of We can exist, but not We as made by two, but a clear intention to fuse into the other to become one. An intended negligence of the Self… Most of this experiment is done through rhythmical breathing and a constant struggle, an impossible fight.
Jared Gradinger was born and raised in Rochester, New York and has been based in Berlin since 2002 when he worked for the first time with Constanza Macras on Mir 3, A Love Story. He is a founding member of Constanza Macras/Dorky Park with whom he has created numerous pieces.
Angela Schubot studied in Berlin and is co-founder of Two Fish with Martin Clausen (since 2000). This group has produced more than 10 dance/theatre pieces, which were and are presented across Germany and abroad.
